Consumer Financial Protection Bureau levelled a $1.7 billion penalty against Wells Fargo

Recently, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau levelled a $1.7 billion penalty against Wells Fargo, and ordered Wells Fargo agreed to pay $2 billion to affected consumers because it misapplied loan payments, wrongfully foreclosed on homes, illegally possessed vehicles, incorrectly assessed fees, and interest, charged suprise overdraft fees, among other things.  If you are a California resident, and recently received a check from Wells Fargo in relation to its recent consent order with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, and have questions about it, or would like to know if you have received a full refund.  Please telephone us at 310-929-5269.
